Opening Cocktail
An Opening Cocktail will be served at the end of the first day of the conference on September 11, 2014 at South Kazakhstan State University. All participants are welcomed to the opening cocktail where varied participants from different countries gather to discuss the happenings of the first day and share their experiences.
Sightseeing
Shymkent is a city and administrative center of South Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan, located in the valley of Sayram River at the foothills of Ugam Range at an altitude of 512 m (1,680 feet). Shymkent was founded in the 12th century as a caravanserai to protect the Silk Road town of Sayram, 10 km to the east.
